The Music Festival in Lancut...

. . . has taken place in the splendid castle interiors every May for the last thirty-five years. During this time the great artists who have performed here have made the Festival renowned.
The palace chambers resound with chamber music rendered by vocalists the likes of Renata Scotto, Katia Ricciarelli, Paul Esswood, Teresa Zylis-Gara, Stefania Toczyska and Wieslaw Dawidowicz, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Juan Martin, Krzysztof Jakowicz, Garry Karr, Garrick Ohlson, Wanda Wilkomirska and Adam Makowicz.
The Virtuosi di Roma, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, Wilanow Quartet and Saint Petersburg Quartet are a few of the ensembles whose concerts have graced the Festival
Lancut Castle also boasts the Music Master Classes.
Here in July every year, talented youth meet distinguished teachers of violin, viola, violoncello, contrabass and classical guitar, who individually teach these future virtuosos.
